Created On Location
Our founder, Alice, created Repair & Restore Facial Oil whilst on the road, working as a make-up artist for Tom Cruise on the set of the film Mission Impossible: Fallout. She carried her vials of essential oils around in a suitcase and made her hotel room into a DIY mixing lab to try to perfect her facial oil blend. When she felt like she was close to completion, she would send samples back home to friends and colleagues and have them test the oil to see how it performed in all different kinds of environments, from high humidity to sub-zero. When she was content with the blend, she named it Repair & Restore, and the rest is history.
Beauty Editor Approved
In 2020, beauty journalist India Knight wrote about Repair & Restore in her weekly Sunday Times Style column, proclaiming that it 'worked miracles on spots and scarring' and was a 'transformative' product for those with rosacea, scarring, eczema, and psoriasis. Overnight, Alice was inundated with orders, and Repair & Restore sold out instantly. Since then, the bestselling facial oil has been featured in Refinery 29, You Magazine, and The Metro, where beauty journalist Caroline Brien referred to it as 'the best for soothing irritation'. A Potent Botanical Blend
The two natural ingredients at the heart of the Repair & Restore are German Chamomile and Helichrysum. Chamomile has been revered as a sacred healer for centuries, with ancient Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians all using the plant to soothe red, irritated skin.
