5 Steps to Take Your Skin from Struggle Street to Radiant.

Patience

Just as Rome wasn’t built in a day, your skin did not decide overnight to start struggling and therefore won’t return to homeostasis in a nano second. Trust in the process, be kind to yourself.

Rebuild

When the skin is sore, broken in places, red & breaking out putting acid on top is like eating a spicy curry washed down with a large glass of wine while you’re knee deep in food poisoning. Just as you would soothe your stomach with gut healing foods like broths, and easy to digest foods we need to approach the skin with similar kindness by reaching for products that will aid the healing process rather than slow it down.

Journalling

Knowledge is power tracking your food and drink intake, your stress levels, sleep levels and skin language is going to give you an amazing picture of your triggers, what your skin loves and what it hates. Gather as much information as you can, this is for your eyes only so be honest with yourself. Click here to download the Kyushi Skin Journal

Gently does it

Your skin appears to be on the mend a few weeks of kindness in but there are still some areas of struggle, nope now is not the time to reach for the acids keep calm and carry on what you’re doing, if it isn’t broken and all.

Next steps

Its been a little while you have loved your skin like a new born baby you no longer have any areas of broken skin, it no longer looks angry and there aren’t any active breakouts, perhaps you are left with pigmentation or scarring this is the time to start adding in some active products. If you can consult with a holistic facialist and get a plan in place amazing if not do lots of research and introduce one product at a time that way you know if your skin takes a couple of steps backwards you know why.

The Kyushi Struggling skin protocol

The uncomplicated method to get your skin back on track….

Red Light Therapy (8 mins a day)

The wise grandmother of Skin gadgets, Red light is not a new fancy tool, its been around for a long time, and something easily found in the natural world, think sunrise and sunset. So why are we obsessed with Red Light Therapy? Imagine if you could sit in front of a lovely warm light for 8 minutes a day and every cell in your body would be given energy, meaning every single cell in your body was performing optimally, and not only that your skin is hydrating from the inside out, fine lines and wrinkles are reducing, inflammation is a thing of the past and you feel like you’ve been lying in the sun without the damaging UV rays….thats exactly what the red light therapy does…and that’s only scratching the surface of its wonder.
