Movement & Energy Flow

This time of year always feels like a time to go inwards, a nurturing & slower time. As the leaves are still falling we start to think about the festivities and perhaps start thinking and making plans for the new year.

With the dark mornings and nights feeling motivated can be a struggle, snuggling down in a warm bed or comfy sofa seems like the only plausible option right. We are lucky to live by the sea so although walking along a beach to the point where your face is so cold you fear it may fall off theres something so nourishing for the soul and replenishing for the energy levels. So although going for a walk if your used to doing a HITT workout may seem a little sedate but rather than putting pressure on yourself to do something you simply cannot drag yourself up or out to do, throw on your coat and go for a walk outside, look at the trees, the nature, notice the mushrooms growing out of tree stumps, how the leaves crunch under foot, the birds nesting in the hedges and breathe the fresh air all the way down to the bottom of the lung, exercise the diaphragm, soften the belly and feel your nervous system calm and your mind become still.

How can you help? By taking this moment to nourish your own wellbeing, you will be providing essential support to thousands of others, enabling them to take care of their own personal hygiene, confidence, dignity.

This unique, 90-minute, immersive sound bath incorporates meditation and essential oils to elevate your healing experience and calm the mind, leaving you feeling nourished and rejuvenated. The sonic soundscape will be created by Antonina (SoulStar Stories) Alisdair (Stillness Meditation and Gongs) and Alice (Kyushi Wellness), who will be playing her sonic crystal bowls to create cosmic vibrations in abundance.

We are a social, ethical and environmental organisation working across the UK and abroad to relieve hygiene poverty and stop products from going to waste. We are the first organisation in the UK to tackle hygiene poverty and the only directory that allows people to see exactly where their donations are making an impact in their community.

It all started in an airing cupboard back in September 2014. We realised that too many people were living with too many spare, unwanted or unused toiletry products, and that actually these items could be really helpful to others. The original premise was to collect spare toiletries for one homeless shelter in Cambridge, the donations kept coming… we now support over 290 organisations.

How We Show Up in the World

Here at Kyushi Ive always wanted to create as little impact on the planet as I can, theres some things I’m really happy with and things I would love to improve on, I believe if we all try and do a little bit better than we were the day before then that will create a ripple effect into change. Here’s a few things you can do to help me make a difference

When you have 5 empties send them back to me, I will reuse or ensure they are recycled correctly with teracycle. In return you will receive a free 10ml of your choice yay! just email me at alice@kyushi.co.uk to organise.

When you receive your order, you can turn the box inside out and use it to send your own parcels or as a gift box, or you can of course simply pop it into your recycling.

What I am doing behind the scenes & my goals.

Looking into using cap lids for repeat customers so you can reuse your own pipettes & pumps which are notoriously hard to recycle.
Creating larger sizes of the oils to create less waste and less shipping.
I would love to provide eco refill sachets/bottles in the future.
