The Kyushi 5 Pillars of Skin Health

Physical Nourishment

This week I wanted to share my favourite brownie recipe with you. Whether you're looking for a healthy recipe or not this one is amazing and full of skin loving ingredients. 

Brownie Ingredients

1 cup blanched almond meal

2 Large eggs

½ cup Ghee or unsalted butter

⅓ cup coconut sugar

½ cup cacao powder

1 tsp gluten free baking powder

2 tsp apple cider vinegar

2 pinches of salt

1/2 a bar of dark chocolate, Sea Salt & Rose Petals to sprinkle on top (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven 170C. Line a bread loaf tin with baking paper.

  2. Add all the brownie ingredients into a large bowl and mix to combine.

  3. Scoop the mixture in the pre-lined tin and spread it out evenly.

  4. Press ½ of the broken chocolate bar into the top of the brownie evenly.

  5. Place the brownie into the oven for 15 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.

  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before slicing.

  7. Sprinkle a small amount of quality salt flakes over the top and enjoy.

What We Use

Its the perfect few months for long hot soaks in the bath, heres something to try at home, buy some lovely jojoba oil and before you get in the bath apply all over (not the soles of your feet so you dont slip - do be careful) get in the bath and let your skin soak it all up when you get out your skin will be silky soft!
